Yahoo and Bing join teams

Bing and Yahoo together still do not pose a challange to google.

Google has 2 major weapons - youtube and adsense. Until bing and yahoo come up with an advertising program and a site to compete with youtube, the people at google do not have a single thing to worry about.

There are too many people making money off of google adsense. Its going to take something major to drive people away from google and to the other search engines.

And I just dont see it happening.

You know if you want to be the number one in Bing or other search engines you have to keep a leg up on the competition by having an older domain age, and having inbound links from websites that included the primary keyword in the referring site’s title tags.

hmmm... somehow i agree with you but i think this project of yahoo and bing will come close to google.... though they can beat(or beat them) it..they can go closer to it

I don't know what I really think on this topic. From a marketing standpoint, I think Bing/Yahoo should do well, but realistically, most people are still going to type in Google as it is what they know.

Its good news ...Though competition raise the quality ... so all of them try to invent new technologies... we will wait to see the changes and fighting.. Any how this will be good for us

Yes many people are making money online through adsense and u tube is also very popular, so Google is already giving tough time to yahoo and bing

With the collaboration of Bing and Yahoo, that would improve their services in providing results to searchers and would also give a better competition to google. though i think google will still be unbeatable because many searchers are used to using this search engine for searching information online.

Bing and yahoo together cannot be able to bit the google,because it has its own popularity and popularity cannot be gained in a day.

Google is a very well rounded company.

I think so,that the way of for the Seo would be changed by the introduction of these new.

If you follow the Internet industry, you've probably heard that Yahoo is turning their search over to Microsoft to be powered by Bing.

I already read the article about joining team of those 2 major search engine. I think those 2 major search engine is not enough to beat Google.

Separately, they posed no threat to Google. Even becoming partners they still don't pose a threat. I am just surprised that Microsoft joined into Yahoo, and not the other way around with Yahoo having a drastic drop in their reports.

Before the merge, Microsoft had been constantly offering Yahoo to buy them out. Yahoo kept on refusing, and eventually they came to this current solution.
