WTB vb owned license

I was considering buying a vb license (owned) for my lost forum...It's $160.00, is there any way that I can get it for less than that? I've seen a lot of vB licenses on the net, but I wasn't sure if the license was transferable...What do you guys know?

i have a VB license that was for a forum my mate set up and i paid the VB part and he the hosting. But the site was stopped and although now restarted the vb forum wont be used and i was thinking to use it for something else. But was unsure how that works myself as i did not know how the license is connected to the site itself

So i hope someone else here knows the full workings of this

The license can be transfered, but there is a time restriction before which it cannot be transfered.

Do you know how long the restriction is? Does that mean that you must use it on the intended website for a certain amount of time before you can transfer it? Or you only have so long to transfer it, and then you won't be allowed to anymore?

The restriction is on transfer to new owner, there are no restrictions once you own the license as to transfering to different domains. I think you have t own the license for 3 months(though it could be 6) before you can transfer ownership. Though there are ways around this.
