Do you censor words on your forum?

I only censor a few bad ones.

I censor them sometimes, others I don't care. But if I do censor them, I usually allow people to un-censor them if they so choose.

I don't censor to much because sometimes there are just words that you need to use that some forums do censor out.

Haha, but is it really worth possibly losing members over that?

I don't use them. I find them petty. As long as people aren't swearing in every post, and aren't using it in an abuse way, there's nothing wrong with it.

I would usually censor words that are very offensive, simply because it likely isn't the aim of your forum to offend someone. I would also censor these words to put forth a professional look to the forum, because foul language can often tarnish a forum because it isn't at all controlled.

For me, censorship is one of the worst things that can happen on a forum... therefore I don't censor anything. The world is uncensored... why should a forum be?

There are ways to stop that though, if your dedicated you will eventually get all of the ways around taken out by adding new ways into the list as they pop up.

I don't have a community using curse words often. So my forum has no censored words.

No, I do not make any use of the censor feature; I allow the use of "bad words".

well it's ok to censor few words, but i think that if you have a general chat forum you should leave it all free, that will attract more users in my opinion. anyway, NEVER censor inside words. that's not a good idea.
