    Say you have a nice website and some very interesting contents. While you promote your internal pages in your homepage, it's important that your visitors will eventually know the links to these contents via a good site navigation structure by your website.

    website navigation is of great importance, since every user wants to access required pages effortlessly. Probably noone will surf a site where the nav is mixed up or not quite usable. People like things to be simple, as well as balanced

    Good navigation system increase probability to view maximum number of pages of your website. Users always stay on those sites which have good navigation because with good navigation they easily travel on each page of your website. Also with good navigation the search engine spider obviously visits your site internal pages and finally Google concentrate on your site to give good ranking.

    Website navigation is one of the most basic and fundamental features of any quality website. Website navigation refers to the path that is followed by viewers to move from one page to another page in the website. This path has to be an efficient one, so that the visitors do not navigate away from the site. Once you get visitors to your Website, they will be impatient when they cannot find what they want quickly. From user point of view the navigation of website should be easy and simple. If many a times customer doesn’t get what they want they will be depressed and leave your site.
    Navigation should allow the visitors to know at what page they are and how to go back. It should have steadiness all over the website, a search box and a trail should be added to help the users. In case the user get confuse ask your Web Designer to provide the facility to start over again. A home page should have links to the various pages on your website that will make it user-friendly.
    In addition a sitemap should be provided in case you have any broken links between pages, a sitemap can help users to find path on your site. If the hyper-linked page is not functioning, sitemap can help the visitor to locate and recognize that page easily. Easy navigation through sitemaps help the search engines index better and navigate easily from one page to the other. Even if you update your site with new content or any feature, this is reflected in the sitemap and assists the crawler to know about it and index it correctly.
