Which domain registrar does everyone use? Personally I use FXdomains for my .com's (they are a godaddy reseller I think, but are often cheaper than godaddy) and for my .co.uk's I use 123-reg.
I don't get domain names from a single registrar. I have this habit of trying all possible domain name registrars and size up their service.
I use namecheap for .info domains normally although Godaddy now has a special off of 99 cents per .info domain. I use netfirms for most of my .com domains at the rate of 4.99 per domain.
I prefer to use GoDaddy, mostly because that's where a majority of my domains are registered. I have one with Yahoo, one with NameCheap, and one with some registrar that I don't know that name of. The other 35 names are with GoDaddy.
I'm always using godaddy but if there are good offers from other offers from other sites I'd use them like namecheap.
I have transfered all my domains (not include the free domains with web hosting plans) to GoDaddy which include free privacy registeration.
I use Namecheap. I find them very flexible, You can set Your ns to anything that You want and when You buy domain it will automatically be pointed there. You can also change it anytime You want or if You don't have hosting for it yet You can leave it on their ns. There are tons of features available.
I think these are basic features. West Wild Domains/GoDaddy has the Total DNS Control and lots of free features, such as free hosting, quick blog, Complete Email Account, Online Photo Filer, etc.
I just like Godaddy. They had very good and fast customer service which is not really so now. They are still cheap.
I use loads for TLDs. Moniker for nets mainly at the moment though, $5.49 pricing for me For UK Names though, I just go with 1and1, they're cheap and I know how they work. I hear horror stories from 123-reg all the time. I am thinking about setting up my own TAG and getting registrations directly, but this costs a fair bit and I don't have a big enough portfolio to support this yet. I'm thinking of paying a little bit more to go somewhere more reputable like Weycrest or even Moniker for UK Names.
I register all my sites through domainsite.com... Its good and cheap.... But Godaddy is the best and I dont have a verified Paypal account so no Godaddy
I use Godaddy because of price and also because they are very easy to use. I got started there and I see no reason to give it up. Only knock is they aren't live/real time like Moniker. Derek
I was using GoDaddy. I am using GoDaddy and I will use GoDaddy. Even their hosting is perfect as domains registration!
