Of course, the Dreamweaver is the best editor for a website. It is a tool / software developed by Adobe Systems. It is more targeted at web developers and designers. Also, it provides support to the most popular and mostly used web languages – PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. However, it differs when a development requirement changes such as building iOS application. When it comes to building an application for iOS platform, the best tool is the Xcode, a solution by Apple for developing OSX and iOS-based applications.

But, personally, I would go for the "Sublime Text 2" a beautifully designed cross-platform code editor. It is fast and feature rich, and support almost every programming language. The best part of this tool is that it runs on Linux, Windows and OSX and offers unlimited trial period. However, if you are going to use it continuously, its better to get a license copy of it, which is available just for $70 USD.

Without any doubt it is Dreamweaver, having said that it depends upon individual interest as well.
