    According to me both the Techniques are good for link building and help to increase back-link. But I think Press release is better one.

    Press release and bookmarking both techniques are good to generate popularity of website and increase traffic and back link. I prefer social Bookmarking.

    All these are important in some aspects, if your company starts a new service we need to do press release submission, its an easy way to spread the news. You can get more traffic from Social Media sites like twitter and facebook. Bookmarking is the best way to get do follow backlinks to our website.

    I wouldn't compare between the two. If I'm going to have to pick those, I'd say that I'd do them both since they can really help create a buzz about your site and what you actually do.

    social bookmarking is much better then press release, once you have created your account on all the high page ranked social bookmarking sites, then add at least one story a week to all the social bookmarking sites, this will boost your rankings

    All the techniques that you have mentioned are essential for promoting the keyword pages. Social networking and bookmarking can be done on a daily basis; however a press release can be submitted only when there is a product launch or some special offer is being given.
