    I like Acer, the brand always has nice cost performance.

    My personal favorite is Mac, but it is costly :( and that is the reason I prefer dell laptops.

    Probably just Apple. I've had Dell in the past, and hated it more than anything. The worst, heaviest and slowest thing to use ever!!!

    I too have dell (inspiron series) it is quite light weight and very fast !
    I guess you weren't maintaining your laptop correctly or maybe some virus effected your laptop.

    I love the Lenovo. They had the most brute laptops which are good in processing too. They may not good in looks but they are superb with their working.

    I find Mac and Dell as my only option for durability and compactness.
    Although MAC is an exclusive one for it's OS, still Apple don't make any bad reputation to their loyal consumers.
