what is the point of making so many webmaster forums when u have huge webmaster forums already establishes like sitepoint and digitalpoint? its just like general discussion forums, whats the point when there are so many others? the only way to beat off the competion is to put something that your compeitiors do not have. nowadays, that can be hard to do because of all the creative minds out there.
That is a hard question. I think people do it just to add some variety. Some people may not like how one huge forum is run, so someone will try and make a forum that does everything the big board doesn't. Or, enhances it. Hope that made sense. xD
Some people don't like HUGE forums, since they do not offer as much help, as there is no real 1 on 1 sense with you and your helper. Basically, you cannot get your replies answered as well with all your questions answered if forum A has 10 million members and forum B only has 2000.
There are so many of those forums and they all don't really excite me because they are pretty boring. Thats because there are so many members but only a few of them actually post.
