What's the Best Directory Script?

    Can anyone recommend a good Directory Script?

    Looking to build another one but want to look further than phplinkdirectory..

    If your looking for a paid script then Esyndicat would the be way to go however after using them for 4 years and then switching to PHPLD paid version i actually prefer PHPLD now.

    Can't go wrong with PHPLD, it's just a great directory script. I never tried the other though.

    I've actually gone for Directorypress on this occasion, as it has been recommended to me by several sources sources.

    Thanks for that link , ive never used Directory Press to be honest, what are the main advantages you've found using it over other scripts ?

    I recommend esyndicat. You'll have the option to add as many custom fields you want. I was just thinking about a business directory today. Good luck

    I think PHPLD is most reputed and trusted web directory over the internet.It is affordable also.If you want open source directory script like PHPLD then you can try Php weby - Free web software, Free PHP scripts, tutorials .Its is an Open Source script with many features like paypal integration,free as well as reciprocal links etc...

    PHPld is more common and popular script for directories. When as a web master, i work for dir submission, i can see than many more websites are from phpld scripting, so i would like to suggest you phpLD
