I used godaddy only for few domains, but I needed to transfer them to other provider. Their sites is very slow and it's complicated. Also the domain names are more expensive than at other registers.

    Hello,

Godaddy are fantastic for domain names but they have some very negative reviews on the web hosting side of things. If you do not expect to need support very often Godaddy should be fine but if you expect to contact support allot Godaddy is not a good choice.

Godaddy is a nice domain registrar but might be not so well for hosting purpose. Many of my friends have transferred to bluehost or hostmonster. :)

    Have a nice day,

Godaddy is good for domain names registration. However, for hosting I would definitely not choose them again.

They're pretty cheap, but the support is bad and they're constantly trying to sell you more than what you need.

hmm ... have heared the same thing from a lot of people that its good for domain registration but not good for support .... but i would suggest and prefer as well that if we need to pay some extra for good support than i would go for that ... bcoz we purchase it for once but support can be requried anytime ... what do you say ??

GoDaddy is one of the favorite registrars, for many of my friends, who are domainers. I find GoDaddy to have a nice layout and a good support team, when I registered my first domain there (a .info :p ) they even called me to see if I needed help setting up the site (although --- I am sure that was probably to get me, to buy their hosting)

    Cheers,

    Caleb

    hi all,

i really don't have any idea about any other registrar but i know about someone ... these people have a good customer support and never ask anyone to buy anything else... whatever and whenever you need just buy.. or whenever you need support they serve you and get back to your queries at earliest.

would suggest to try it once... and also sure dat nobody would say that they don't have good customer support.

if anyone wanna try then please let me know ... i would give you their website address to you :)

I dont like go daddy, once you book a domain there, you can transfer it to other server, and If you forgot to renew your domain, you have to pay double to get back this domain...
