    XP, Vista takes to many resources and there's still too many bugs. SP1 was just released and Microsoft released a critical security patch ON THE SAME DAY!!

    It's pretty much acknowledged that most of the Vista interface is copied from Mac OS X 'Tiger'. Of course, Mac are now onto Leopard and poor old Bill is still playing catch-up! :tongue:

    XP here, I dont reckon on changin to Vista. Firstly its overpriced, secondly as there is nothing on it to benefit me theres no point, thirdly too many bad reports about it.

    All of the complaints about Vista being so slow... it performs much faster than Xp when I use it. The computer just needs good enough hardware and not bare minimum, plus the computer user needs to know how not to clog up the computer with crap.. though it could be argued that's not the job of a home user.

    personally, they seem very much the same to me, about 1 second difference loading time between my xp and vista, only difference apparnt to me is the bar at the bottom of the screen is a nice colour lol

    Im currently using my dad's MAC (hate them though), I will be getting a laptop soon (will make a thread soon on what to get :0 ), and I will be using Windows 7, although my mum's laptop is on XP....

    I used to use Windows XP though i have tried Linux but i having a hard time with it that is why i get back to XP.
