Google has implemented yet another ranking factor into their algorithms... the speed of your website! Now, it is more important than ever to ensure that your site is running at peak performance as often as possible. So, how fast is your site, exactly? Check by following these steps:

    1. Access the Google Webmaster Panel:
    https://www.google.com/webmasters/

    2. Click Tools on the left-hand sidebar.

    3. Click Site Performance and read the data summary and analyze the graph.

    Here are my results:
On average, pages in your site take 0.7 seconds to load (updated on Apr 8, 2010).
This is faster than 97% of sites.

You can also check your site's speed with this tool:
Website Monitoring Services - Web Server Monitoring by InternetSupervision.com

It accesses your site from a variety of locations around the world.
You can use this information to give your visitors a better experience on your site. :)

Actually, the new site speed criterion isn’t weighted as heavily as something like page relevance, however. Google says less than 1% of actual search queries performed are being affected by the site speed dimension in the current implementation.

I think i have read this one and if i did not mistaken at Google Webmaster Central Blog
Actually, its an old issue about site speed because search engine noticed that loading time does matter to all searchers they tend to like sites who can load fast and will get more visitors. Its a matter of optimizing your site the better way to get more chances of visiting of search engine bots and for fast indexing and crawling thing.

For quick loading have 1 picture load and then segment off different quadrants or sections to be displayed independently. This way the browser only has to load one picture and it can do that a lot quicker than many smaller ones, every query takes a little more time.

we know that web design involves a lot figure out what customers and clients are looking for on your web site - and then make sure that they can find what. Speed measures your bandwidth and more - networking 50 screen shot of speed start up take back control of your computer with speed startup when new items are found, you are notified and prompted what to do with them. Using memory in your storage device to speed up your start your engines.
