What is your favorite code editor?
This is a subjective question, that may need some factors to consider before responding to.
Do you want an editor that is free/open source or paid/licensed? What is your current OS? Is your code editor supported there? Are we talking about the WYSIWYG, or simply allowing you to see the code view?
My favorite so far is still notepad++, supported in Windows, with syntax highlighting and syntax folding.
Responses may differ, because this question is after all subjective.
My favorite code editor are notepade++ and Adobe Dreamweaver

notepad++ is best for me.
Eclipse is my favorite code editor as it is goto development environment for writing Java applications. The IDE follows a plugin architecture, which makes it easy to bring support for additional programming languages. There are plugins for C/C++, Ruby, PHP and more.
