It's very easy to use. Even if you're inexperienced, you can configure the account in an instant. Enkompass provides an interface that allows you to terminate one or more accounts simultaneously. You can also terminate an account entirely, or you can choose to keep the account's DNS or user account info. It's very convenient.
I have yet to take a venture into Enkompass. From the feedback I have heard from both end users & web hosting providers it seems everyone is happy. For someone moving from cPanel (linux) to Enkompass (windows) then they should have no issues with being able to use the control panel. I do plan to give Enkompass a go over the next few weeks so I will post my full review then.
We have been using Plesk all these years for Windows servers, however we did evaluate Enkompass by cpanel team with the help of their evaluation version. Its a nice control panel and more over a user who is used to linux cpanel, will find it very convenient and user friendly. However a user who has been using Plesk all these years, may need some time to get used to it. In terms of performance, I believe, it needs a bit of fine tuning yet so as to save memory resources on the server. Overall it is a good control panel for Windows and I would rate it 8 / 10.
I am pasting few links regarding Enkompass regarding its over view ,features etc i hope it proves to be helpful to every one. Features - Enkompass Overview - Enkompass Encompass - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Since a long time Plesk and DotPanel (WebsitePanel 1.0) are strongly recommended for windows servers, but anyway user should try this one as well. However, I've heard that Enkompass has some compatibility issues.
cpanel is the industry standard and always improving itself. But since Enkompass is a new product I'm sure it will have to be improved by user experience and currently it's definitely not a featured product comparing to other ones such as plesk & websitepanel.
I believe everyone loves cPanel for Linux so now let us see how Enkomapass goes. I think, cPanel developers should be more concentrated on making of cPanel as a cross platform for both Linux & Windows, then it will be more interested.
Yeah i do agree with you. Most of the people wants cpanel for linux. Its time to hoe Enkomapass works and handles it.
It's a software by cPanel so people can easily trust it. And since, its a software for Windows servers, it is going to rock.
Enkompass by cPanel offers your users a flexible, easy-to-use interface that includes a Getting Started Wizard for new users. Users can configure their accounts' language setting and main contact address, and receive a brief introduction to web hosting.
Haven't used it as of now. We are still testing it over the servers and would start offering it only when we are rest assured about its performance and stability.
