Stay away from using just an antivirus. Instead go for the complete security software solution. Yes, nowadays antivirus+firewall is the way to go. Btw most antivirus companies offer this in one package. Personally I prefer KAV. (the security package is calles KIS, Kaspersky Internet Security) This is the best antivirus to date.

In some months things might be a little different so it is always best you check what is the best antivirus solution to date. If you want to go with a different antivirus software then choose Norton Corporate Edition. It doesn't use much memory resources and it is very powerful as it was built to protect companies from both online and off-line threats.

I used to have norton on my old laptops but got the problem of it making them run slow, my partner had mcafee on his laptop and it became so slow it took 15 minutes to start up, i have since switched to mcafee but have not had the same problem as him, and it seems to be doing a great job so far.

I use AVG as it is free and it is a good antivirus and you can trust it.You will not get any problems as far as you update it regularly and if you have more ram and good system configuration I would suggest you to go for Mcafee as it is also good.

The best anti virus found in the market KAV, BitDefender and MCafee. It provides an entire security system. If you are looking for a free anti virus then you can go with AVG or Avast, both are really good.
