There is nothing Unlimited in this world. Mostly hosting company use Unlimited word to attract the client. Before purchasing any such Hosting account always read Terms and Conditions of the company.

Hi,

Just to let you know >>> there is no such thing as unlimited server resources.
Why is there the need for such high usage? If this is a requirement you might need to look into a vps or dedicated solution if your requirement is very high.

Thats true. For big projects with high requirements like bandwidth, space etc . Dedicated server and Vps is the best solution. Unlimited hosting plans are only to attract clients.

While dealing with any web hosting company you will have to read TOS carefully, because those companies who promotes the unlimited hosting plans, usually put lot of restrictions such as cpu usage and inode limitation. Usually their hosting contracts are totally one sided that allows them to cancel hosting account of anybody. Actually the entire term of unlimited hosting is based on presumptions of the web hosts. Generally host recognize that shared hosting users don't have too many requirements for disk space and bandwidth so they utilize the unlimited word for attracting potential customers. However, if anyone uses fully claimed resources on their system, then there are lot of chances that his/her account will be suspended without any information. Hence, it is very important to read TOS before going to sign up any hosting plan with any web host.

Yes you should reads terms and conditions before purchase because in unlimited hosting plans there are limitations of everything. If your bandwidth or webspace increases they suspend the account. So if your requirements are high then go with Vps or Dedicated server.

Always referring to the CPU usage and general server resource consumption percentage. For example if you're going to launch a heavy traffic under a shared plan, it's definitely not suitable. The "unlimited" simply means you use their service freely as long as not causing any problem and affect other clients.

If your require heavy Bandwidth , Huge space and want to run Audio and video files then Dedicated Server or Vps is the good solution. Shared hosting is for websites whose requirements are low.

In addition, if you are willing to run Audio and Video files, then you need be sure about server specifications, because audio & video files are resource hungry and requires adequate package. VPS is also good solution, but if you are going to use shoutcast or something similar to it, then personally I'd suggest you to go with dedicated server, as it's the best solution in terms of ROI. Shared hosting dont allow audio video files because it effects the server and hundreds of accounts are hosted on 1 server.Vps is a cheaper solution than Dedicated Server for big projects.

re:

Yeahh, but when it comes to shoutcast or something similar to it, then I always suggest people to choose dedicated server instead of VPS. If you allow to host heavy audio & video applications on VPS, then you will have to allocate more resources to main node such as RAM. Otherwise it will cause lot of problems to other VPS users on that node.

Indeed, when it comes to audio, video or shoutcast website then only one solution that is a Dedicated Server is the best solution for it. Most of the times such websites consumes lots of CPU usage and can create problems for your sites on VPS. So, a dedicated server with higher RAM would be great for such sites.
