UK Smoking ban nearly here.

Ok so i am a smoker and have to take this on the chin, but....I have now found out that because some of my work is from home the law says I cant smoke in my own house!!! What an ARSE...they are gonna have to stick that one where the sun dont shine:tongue:

well goodluck, its very hard to stop smoking...it took my aunt about a year and 2 months to stop

I wish a smoking ban would happen where I live. I cant enjoy the good restaurants :~

Yay to smoke-free nights out! I very much doubt every bar, club etc. will vigorously enforce the new laws and I'm sure quite a few will get fined! Not to mention the drunken fools smoking inside getting kicked out and fined!

It'll take time but give it a year or two and it'll become second nature to go outside to have a smoke. Kind of like in the City now, you see hoards of people congregating around doors puffing away.

Thats the point, i understand that non smokers hate it and i respect that, i never did smoke in restraunts etc anyway.
But when i am being told i now cant smoke in my own home, well thats the limit.:angry:

I agree. I don't smoke but I'm with you all the way. Lets go on strike :biggrin:
