I see the back end is a little different, do you have a demo of the control panel?
I have seen the screen shots but could be usefull to have a demo.

    Hi midlandi

It's probably best to refer you to the DirectAdmin demo's at their website :p

    http://www.directadmin.com:2222/

    Login info:

    Reseller: Username: demo_reseller Password: demo
Normal Shared Hosting User: Username: demo_user Password: demo

If you would like specifically a demo of the control panel on our servers, feel free to ask - it's exactly the same as the one above though :)

    Hope this helps! Thanks

Looks pretty straight forward, the file manager is nice and clear.
The whole area is clearly laid out.
Tell me does this also act as a billing manager aswell?

Nope but there is an add-on somewhere for that! For resellers we can offer WHMCS licensing and also install/support it for them. Personally, we also use WHMCS for billing! We couldn't keep billing to DirectAdmin because we did offer VPS services - these where removed from new sales so that a much higher level of service can be offered in 2008 once we move into our own rackspace. We also plan to offer managed DNS services and possibly cPanel shared hosting for those who specifically would like cPanel. Though... that's all in the future. Basically, an external billing system allows expansion and usually a great support of billing modules etc! + when we do move into our own rackspace, we will be leaving our website & billing at the current datacenter - with no client websites there, we wont need DirectAdmin on that system. It then gets more confusing.. if the billing is built into DirectAdmin then what happens as you add more DirectAdmin servers but the billing add-on is only on one?! You don't want separate billing locations for each server do you now  I know there are all in one
solutions with billing etc, but they're usually with the option for clustered setups. DirectAdmin is a single-server control panel really, you deploy it separately to each server. There are one or two multi-server setup options on it though, such as DNS.

Sorry if that all sounded confusing... to put it simply: DA does not include billing management :p
