I have taken a test recently to find out my typing speed. I found out that I can actually type 65 words per minute. I consider that as one of my skills and so I included it in my list of skills in my resume. How about you? How fast do you type?

I think I might type about 60 or 65, I used to type 95 words per minute, but that was 17 years ago, and I've lost that skill. I used to be pretty fast at 10-key too, but I can't do that at all anymore.

It's basically a calculator that has 10 numeric keys...0 through 9, it has more than 10 keys, I don't know why they call it 10-key. But its the same thing as your numeric keypad, only the numbers start at the top with 1,2,3, then the next row down would be 4,5,6, and so on...

I just about manage 65 letters a minute. Though I am speeding up.
My biggest problem is if i type too fast I make too many mistakes.

Wow! 95 words per minute! That's really great! Well, it doesn't really matter if you still have the skill or not. Besides, there are people who can barely have 30 words per minute without looking at their keyboards.. Thanks for sharing!

With all the paperworks I am working on, I also hope to speed up a little so I could finish at a shorter time. It's normal to commit mistakes. But it is okay because we can check and edit our work and I think that the backspace key and delete key are very useful for this purpose.

Hhhmmm... That's really great! I heard about this voice activation software but have not really tried one yet. My cousin has been telling me to get one so that I could work on my lectures faster. I think I will give it a consideration.

    skilled

Whoa! Stephanie must really be very skilled in this area. Typing 120 words per minute is not a joke! She must really be very productive with that kind of skill.
