After 2 years of the site being down Triphp have now acquired the domain directory-owners.com , unfortunately the site and database were not up for sale how ever i spoke with tom ( previous owner ) and he agreed to sell the domain.

Anyway i would like to announce Directory Owners forum the new home of Directory-owners.com

The domain will be redirected to the Triphp URL and we look forward to seeing some directory owners ( if there are some of you still around ) joining Triphp, I know the directory structure of the forum currently may not stand up to the grandness of a dedicated forum however if we get some experienced directory owners on the board keen to keep up the topics then i would be happy to sort out some more dedicated sections of the site.

Have a good day and i hope 2010 is a profitable and healthy one for everyone

    Congratulations :)

I don't know what kind of site was on that domain first.

Did the old owner sell you the domain at cheap price or high? just asking :)

Well it was the leading Directory owners forum for some time , the owner then sold the site and the guy that took it over literally told the members to go away and then closed the site because he had a bad experience in the Directory business . The site then sat closed for 2 years which is why i offered to buy the site and domain but he only wanted to sell the domain .

The domain is still PR4 with 5000 backlinks so i thought it would be a nice little purchase :)
