As a result of a number of spam related posts in recent weeks with people dropping their own links into their posts as a form of promoting their own site Triphp has now decided to add the Nofollow attribute to the post body.

This does not affect your signatures, Your signatures will remain follow.

This should be a problem for anyone since the forum rules clearly state that there is to be no advertising you own websites on triphp with the exception of your signatures.

We will also be having a couple more changes in the coming weeks regarding the quality of the posts as we move to try and become a better , more professional discussion forum rather than another Digital point.

I hope you all approve of this motion.

    Thanks for your time .

Adding to the alterations you will also now see that the minimum character limit on posts is 120 characters. This is to stop the useless posts that offer nothing to the forum what so ever. Most notably from members which quite literally get their 15 posts for their signature and then never to be seen again.

The Rules will be updated later tonight and made more prominant in the forums , along with a little forum re-shuffle also to make things a little easier for everyone

Very good decision dear Admin, I Agree with you We see in many forum the member join a forum and start to increase his post count. They go to member introduce topic and "welcomed" the members. This is unless for the forum.
If any one member start any information they start misleading like this ( Thanks for this nice post) (very nice tips) etc and runaway.

Could I suggest you limit the number of times someone is able to post in the 'introductions' section daily or weekly? Say they can only post 5 posts in that section each week? It annoys me to see all these people just saying 'Hello', 'Hi', 'Nice' etc

You know i was thinking how to do this the other day , it annoys the crap out of me too , The introduction section doesnt even count towards peoples post counts so its pointless really.

I will have a look and see if there is already a mod at vb.org that does this kind of thing
