I do not want to complain, just wanted to help others to not get a ban.

As I already told you I signed up with Google Adsense about 3 years ago and have made decent money with it every month.
In the last few weeks I did some really good seo to my main adsense site and had a really good position in google for a really competitive keyword.
I earned about $3-6 per click and it was amazing!

Today just got an email from adsense support, that my account was disabled because I'm using duplicate content. Well, it is partially true, because not everything was written by me and some articles were spinned, but in most it was a really competitive site with good content and strong backlinks.

    Conclusion:
Whatever you do with Google, do it perfect, because only perfect is good for them. Just wanted let you know guys to check out your sites again and remove potential duplicate content, make your site layout clear, easy to navigate, create a good user experience, because you will never know when a 'specialist' will review your account.

    Good luck!

I think it's BS to be honest with you. I have some competitors that are ranked on page one and sometimes above my site. Only thing on their website is an image with no alt text. A FREAKING IMAGE! Yet, Google allows them to keep being placed on page 1. I've contacted Google numerous times about the site, yet they do nothing. And another funny thing is that the company has about 10 other domain names that all have the same image and content on the sites. The domain names are keyword based domain names "keyword-goes-here Dot com" and yet Google does nothing. We are legit company trying to improve SEO, and our competitors are doing blackhat SEO techniques which goes doesn't penalize them for it. Just boggles me my mind to be honest with you.

Ohhh It was really sad news but it teaches us that we should not use any duplicate content or use google adsense on low-quality websites.

The new violation is using adsense in iframes, so if you have them, get rid of them.

this is the first time i heard of getting banned due to duplicate content.

the common one i heard was click fraud or invalid activity.

is there anyone else got banned for duplicate content?

Thats terrible, here is something else terrible going on with adsense = I am finding that if someone is using Google adsense (say for some months no problem and money increases double month over month) and then they sign up with advertising on Bing - even though Unique visits continues to climb, the adsense clicks suddenly drop by more then 60%!!! Nothing anyone can do I'm sure, which is why and how Google can do this crap, but I wanted to at least let people know what is happening. Its more then scammy its fraudulent! At least one website this is happening too is BridgeToRussian.com -FYI

Wow that's crazy. What if you have copy text that is generic? Like a site welcome message or something? Would google ban you for that as well?
