    Hmm.. I dont *think* so - plus it's unlikely any of those domains will of expired! (for various reasons)

    Heh, it's funny that IBM.com expires in just a few months..

    I wonder what would happen if they actually let it expire! :eek:

    The first standardized use of IP's as a means to locate a computer on the network happened in 1973 (The year of my birth). The first name server appeared in 1984. TLDs .com, .org, and .net came into use in 1985.

    You could pretty well bet that symbolics.com would be a pretty valuable domain name.

    Ill bet ya it wasnt cheap to buy when the idea of buying domains was new..

    It started off being $100 for a 2 year registration.

    and dont forget $100 was worth more then - 15 years ago my parents bought house for £20 000 its now worth about £120 000
