To be honest the only names ive heard in terms of "new" search engines have been CURL and Wolframalfa. I haven't really tried CURL but ive heard alot of good things ( and bad things ) about it. Wolframalfa seems like a neat little search engine for certain things but its pretty obvious that it wasnt meant to beat the like of the google and yahoo , its a totally different niche. Have you heard of any others ?
New Search Engine Oh there are lots and lots more of these sprouting up every where! Wolfram is of course a solution looking for a problem :rollingeyes: There is the "new Google search tool" called the search options which can be found in its advance search. Google always deserves respect for any of its tools, even though there are many far better options for this app! Then there is hulbee.com, which is really using yahoo search so...... There is even a new multimedia search tool from a "Genuine East London garage" called mse360.com and lots and lots more! It is not bad, but I am not sure that it can not compete with the likes of Google and Yahoo! Never the less, I think that there are going to be some really cool search tools soon available to us, which will be a real problem for google and Yahoo!
Ah yes now you mention it i have also seen mse360.com , i was talking to the guy that made it a couple of months ago......i think i may have even offered to buy it lol :~
i haven't heard abt new search engines as i do not ever look for new ones, the search results of Google is so accurate that we can find each n everything with Google search. will give a try to above mentioned new search engines and review it
Oh, that was a nice info river. perhaps i should search for a "new" search engine and if i find one i share it here. Indeed, i should visit that site and see whats in store.
I did not heard about this new SEs out there bcoz I'm into G and I think it is what other people do. G00gling always!
Many name heard as new.. But those are not drive single click even if it in #1 .. So better always work with G,Y and Bing

There is no need to list your website with thousands of different search engines.
newer search engine doesn't matter i still using only two search engines that is Google and yahoo. so whether there are new SE, question is...do they give us good traffic?
According to me, Google is the best search engine. Recently I heard about one of the new search engine called Wolfram Alpha, that was launched some months before. It is a computational search engine, designed using extremely advanced algorithms.
I think Wolframalfa is the best new search engine but to be honest, I have failed to get the hang of it. It is a bit complicate to handle and I think it is for the power users.
