Godaddy is dialed in for domain names. Even though their control panel is very slow. However with I belive over 20 millon domains registered to them they are doing something right.

There nameserver machines are very good. when one switches nameserves they resolve very fast. 1and1 nameserver machines just suck. Takes forevver to resolve when one swaps out namerservers.

I used to get all my domains with them (godaddy). However now I just do it myself.

GoDaddy is great, as long as you make sure you only select what you want and ignore all the extra add-on services they try to sell you, unless you really need them. For bulk domains, resellers and web hosts, ResellOne.net is my recommendation.

    Hi!

In my experience,is good domain registrar in terms of both cost and service. Because I have been with for years now. They provided me domain name at very competitive price ($9.99/year for .com) and also they give lot free site tools like web hosting, personalized emails, domain forwarding etc., Best of all, they have been giving good tech support all the 24/7 via online, telephone.,

Most of my doamins are with Godaddy and a few with Namescheap i guess you could shop around and find some that offer cheaper domains but i feel the extra that Godaddy charge gives me piece of mind and have been with them for many years and as yet never had any trouble with them.

I use Namecheap for most domains. I have a few domains with GoDaddy but I don't like their control panel and they try to get you to buy all this extra stuff in the checkout process.

I'm a namecheap supporter, and they're BY FAR the best domain registrar. You'll never complain about their service if you decide to use them.
