Avatar is supposed to open this coming friday, December 18th. Who is going to see it?

The previews look pretty freaking awesome.

Actually i haven't seen any promos of Avatar yet, but if someone can really give a rating to this movie out of 5, then that would be easy for us to decide on it :p

Planning to go for a movie this weekends with frds to get refresh

The local movie house has a sign up saying that avatar will start showing friday.

I'll probably take the family to see it sunday.

looks cool but the local paper gave it 3 stars and said the story is tired and the same old rehashing of humans attack alien planet, and aliens have to defend themselves. But they said visuals are amazing.

Avatar, well directed movie and Biggest hit of 2009 by James Cameron. The movie is all about Navi (Human race-sapient) and Pandora earth like planet where this habitat exists.
The best movie of 2009 and remind you of star wars. The cinematography and 3-D visual effect is outstanding. The portrait of character Navi and Pandora planet are out of the box thinking

hey i saw the movie last weekend but saw in 2d hall but still i liked the effects.
Agree with what "aleserlee" said, the movie is mind blowing with those special effects, they are really out of box thinking. After i saw the movie i thought i would have seen this in 3d instead ... lol
Yea its the best movie release of 2009.

My wife and I went to go see avatar - its a great movie.

Did they even go see the movie? In the middle of all of that, there is a love story.

I have to give avatar at least 4 1/2 stars.
