Here is a survey that is only two questions I've made using the YouMobToo ( in the signature ) platform ( this is a good way for me to promote it as a brand new free polling software ). But sharp to the point - the poll has the aim to analyze how people learn about SEO and why do they work such job ( second question ). I have learnt about SEO by reading online tutorials. i have a passion for SEO.I want to learn everything in SEO i.e. PPC,SEM,SMO etc.
I learn SEO in our company though they will not totally feed you of all the information that you needed so what i did is read a lot of articles, forum post and take the tutorial online. Of course, i do learn doing SEO through my own experience in doing it everyday.

Well, I learn SEO, through articles and pdfs that I have. I believe, doing SEO by your own is much better in understanding it well. It is very vast and we have to know it well by implementing all the processes and checking the results.
I learned by watching others. Never bought a product when I was learning, I looked at their sites, techniques, emails, and just took it all in. Then I found the IM forums, and just read, downloaded, and read.
