Do you hold staff meetings? And if so, how often?

I'd like to, but my staff and I have a time zone difference it makes it a little hard.

We are in almost the same time zone, but Sawan_M has to come and ruin it, haha, but yea, I don't think its necessary, unless you have a serious issue at hand.

    Different time zones, etc.

I prefer to PM or instant message seperately. More personal.

Haha, really? I never see you on, but it's not a big deal. Having staff in other time zones is better, since you can be on the forum looking for bad things while me and Pandemix are sleeping, so in a sense, you want to spread your staff out around the world.

Looks like iBill and SawanM don't go together with the posting habits, haha.

Well whenever I am on I mostly see Pandemix and when you are on at the same time as me, it is rare.

    Just a thought.

I don't really have a big enough team to justify a team meeting.

Me and my staff have neglected use of the staff forum for a long time. We're too used to dealing with any issues directly via IM. We're on at the same time often enough for it to be an even more effective means of communication than email, post in the staff forum, or some other means. We don't schedule meetings; rather, as hinted earlier, any issues that come up are discussed as soon as they come up and fellow staff are available.

Staff meetings are fun, but are a pain in the arse when everyone's living in different timezones XD. I've once had a staff meeting with staff of an old Harry Potter RPG of mine. To discuss some re-vamp stuff and new features and the like. The people came from USA, England and me from the Netherlands. We just all go together on skype, and talk to each other, and otherwise we just have one big convo in MSN.

Nowadays it's impossible, because my staff members are mostly around 18 or older, so they have their own lives, school, work, bf's and stuff. I just have a Staff Room where everyone can bring up topics and reply when they have time.
