    Hi

Do spam captcha's on web directories put you off or do you think it is a good idea they exist.

I switched one off on one of my directories to make it easier for the submitters

    What do you think?

Most are ok, but there are alot you just cannot read properly which is really annoying when you have spaent the time submitting your details and cant then get past a poor catchpa.

It's those ones that drive me nuts most...I don't mind entering in a few letters or numbers, but there are some that it seems as though they don't want even humans to have access. I don't understand how they stay in business.

To me, if I can read them and they are short, I am more than happy.

Half of them I cant even see and spend three or four attempts to get the thing to go through.

But, I have seen the results of directories with out them, spam heaven.
