    Hi,
I'm a newbie regarding vBulletin forums (used to administrate only phpbb forums).

I've decided to try a vBulletin. I'm having a couple technical questions you guys might help me with.

When I post a thread or a reply in thread and go to index, that thread/post that I just posted shows me as unread. Is it possible to make forum not show that post as unread (it's really annoying).

Another thing, is it possible (aka how) to add a reply button that doesn't automatically quote private message I'm responding to.

Thanks, I appreciate all the help and I'm sorry if those questions were already answered somewhere else.

The first one I believe is due to your cookies and cache, clear those and try again and log back in.

The second one I do not understand.

    1. it's not cookies beacuse it's happening to all users (and on diferent vBulletin forums).

    2. When I'm responding (aka replying) to another's pm I press Reply button (obv.) and my problem is that it automatically quotes the original pm (that I'm replying to).

    1. Go to ACP>vBulletin Options>General Settings>Thread/Forum Read Marking Type and make sure Database (automatic forum marking) is checked.

    2. I'm not sure how to change that, I think it does it automatically, if you don't want it there, just remove it, but I find it helpful most of the time.
