Making a SEO audit for a site is not a joke. I had to face this fact today, being asked to make a "brief analysis" for a well established one.
It's quite a different story when the site is new and undeveloped, or even better, when you're taking hold of it in its very beginning. You have greater control of the situation, can correct things on the run as they happen and can give advise to developers, if you are not them.
To make the long story short, it was interesting and challenging assignment, giving me a lot of insights and food for the thought.
But the point of this thread is to ask you how do you make site SEO audits.
    Give it a shout !

I use SEO PowerSuite from Link-assistant.com. Their website auditor is fantastic , not only does it give me detailed information but i can also send it in PDF format to my clients.

It saves me so much time that i have more time to optimise instead of working on reports which equals more time for more clients
