Hope you have understands title tag importance in our last tip. In this tip I am going to explain keyword META tag.

Search Engine Optimization Tips: Tip 2:

Add your keywords in your HTML META tag. Use page relevant keywords separated by comma.

For example: If you have a weight loss tips PDF document in your page. You can have META keywords like "Weight loss tips, weight loss guide, weight loss PDF".

<META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="Weight loss tips, weight loss guide, weight loss PDF">

You are right though I think its much better if you arrange your meta keyword with this: <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="Weight loss tips, guide, pdf">.

I read somewhere that Google does not consider Meta tags as much as it used to, but Yahoo is still giving it much importance.
Is it true?

In meta tags mostly important is title tags to target the right keywords for using title tags. keyword should be present in more relevant to your website.

I also doubt if Google consider meta keywords and meta description as a factor for ranking results.
