    Anyone use Ruby on Rails?

Its something I have not had any dealings with. Interested to know if anyone has and any info on it.

Hi, I've had had closer look on this as it was part of some projects I've been dealing with last summer and this year, too.
I can tell one thing as personal experience - it's easy to write and supports, but not flexible enough as a language.
Once again - this is my personal opinion, based on my experience. If I'm to state that on "RoR ultras" fan board I'd get flamed a lot.

Yeah, sure :) This should help someone starting dealing with the rails framework for ruby.
And it's that this language + framework is perfect for doing some fast development ( yes, it will generate you all the model/view/controllers in no time )...Once you get into the need of flexibility, more customizations and details...ouch!...
And yes, is RoR becoming more popular, or even widely used ? C'mon it's been years, enough time to get proven...It's people who make it's way, it's called usability...

    ^^

It is not that easy to learn. I am running a hosting business and have ruby on rails installed on it. Frankly, i don't have enough knowledge to support my users with the ROR problems. I have to tell them to go to ROR support area to get their problems sorted.
