Just a quick question for Riverwire.

I see Qdoos is doing really well and the site is looking great.
Tell me what are your long term plans for this?
Are you working on a day to day basis or is it a longer term plan that you have?
I see the theme is a webmaster market place, who do you see your site competing with and is this the area you are going to promote?

    Hey Midlandi,

yeah qdoos is doing better than i first expected although i have spent a little bit of money on it which i wasnt going to do striaght away, I guess because we have the competition running at the moment people are active from the word go, we will see in mid august weather the same people are still as active which i truly hope that are.

My Long term plans ? Well...After spending a good 6 months to a year making my Tottenham site what it is today i saw this as a great success personally for me, it was my baby and my first site, a site that i hope i will always have the time for. I saw qdoos for sale and grabbed it at a bargain price, i thought that if i could get it to the same stage as my tottenham forum (running its self) then i would be very happy. I would like to think that it could be a great success. Since buying Qdoos i have brought another 2 forums which will be launched soon, these will be my last purchases for a while and i will be focusing on promoting them all to grow together, If all goes to plan then i hope these 4 forums and 2 of my other sites will eventually allow me to leave my full time job and be a webmaster full time and possibly have my own network of forums and sites.

Webmaster marketplace... yeah well because thats what it was when i brought it i thought it was a great idea, however i soon realised that a marketplace on its own would be incredibly hard to promote and get people to use daily, so i added more category's and turned it into a webmaster forum aswell, But my intentions are to focus more on the Marketplace side of the site.

We are already challenging for some good terms in google and are Number one for "Webmaster Marketplace" I admit its not a high traffic term but i does get some traffic which is a start.

I pritty sure most of the big forums around didnt make it to where they are on thier own, im sure they had help from friends around the web who they have met along the way. After all our forums are for webmasters so why shouldnt we help each other :):
