Anyone else think it is hard to make one? I think it is hard since you don't really use images in professional banners, mainly gradients, and clever usages of them, and good looking text. I think without a tutorial, I would never be able to design them.

Does anyone have any tips for how to make better professional banners?

all you need is a picture and some nice text and go to town, hell ive made alot of mine by trying new text and ways to place the text ect ect..

But the thing is, you really can't use an image. Unless it is something that lends itself to an image, but it is hard to use images. For me, I need a tutorial to come up with truly good professional banners, I'm not creative enough :(.
