    - Use a clear, catchy and relevant headline
    - Press Release must be newsworthy. You will inform people now and sell
    later.
    - Press Release is a medium to advertise, but not an advertisement at all.
    - It is also known as News Release.
    - Length must be minimum one page and maximum two pages.
    - Keep it short and long text should be broken in to multiple short
    paragraphs.
    - The write style must be clean and clear.
    - Stick to your news and write the actual facts.
    - Avoid fancy and promotional language.
    - No HTML. Never embed HTML or other markup languages in your press
    release.

thanks river, I used to do that and its effective. You know what i like in a press release is you always inform and update people to what you have for them. Sometimes sharing great news becomes an advertisement and its a big no, no in a press release.

it's hard to draw the line of just "press releasing" and "advertising". most people will mix up the two. I know I sometimes do.

    thanks for the info :)

Yeah i know but you to stick to the rule of "You will inform people now and sell later", so that you Press Release must be newsworthy. You can elaborate all good thing you have in your site, be very descriptive and imformative so that they understand everything you have in your site.
