    Would you pay to have the privalage of having the licence link removed? I dont think its worh paying for and cant see what harm it does by keeping it.

    You mean the "powered by" in the footer? Could be good to remove if you have an absolutely huge website and want to customize it alot more than just the original forums... not to hide the fact that you're running VB though.. a good example would be webhostingtalk.

    Sorry, yes i meant the 2powered by" link in the footer.

    I suppose if you wanted a "clean" customised site, but to hide that its a Vb site would be foolish,pretty obvious really!

    Does it really bother anybody to have this at the bottom? Will it gain you anything in the short or long term?

    It it was me I'd leave it, there's no harm in it being there.

    Why would it be foolish? If you've customized the website into much more that VB then it is just "powered by vb" anymore is it :): Do you mean it's obvious the site is VB? Cause if there have been loads of custom modifications then it can quickly not appear as VB to the average visitor.
