Manual Directory submission is better than Auto submission

Is manual submission really better? The answer is YES, in some cases. If you're going to submit to directory sites like Yahoo, or Open Directory then we have always recommended you do this manually. The reasons are explained in our Directory Submission Guide in WebPosition Gold's Submitter.
On the other hand, if you're submitting to a full-text search engine like AltaVista, HotBot, or Google.com, then automated submissions will save you valuable time. In the past, automated submitters fell into disfavor because they did not emulate a browser when they submitted.

Some people believe most of the time, the article directories don’t know you are using automated submission software.

While others believe those submission softwares are of waste of money and time, and they don’t do any good to your rankings. These don't target the keywords, rather you can go manual submission where you will know exactly what you wana do.:xwink:

That is so true, manual submission is better than auto submission it needs a hard work but it can be helpful because you can filter out which directory site that you going to submit and the best part of it is that you don't have to spend money, its totally free.

I have all my work site is to be manually and I got very good reports.So believe will keep him in. I will do my every seo work totally manually.

Manual submission is really helpful in building a link for your site and the good part of it is, its always free because there are lots of free manual submission site around the net.

Autofill Forms add-on of Firefox is what I use to submit to directories. It allows you to create reusable site profiles that can be instantly filled out to directory submission forms. Just a few clicks can result in a manual submission. Don't know if that'd be classified as automated, but it's much more efficient.

manual is better I think because you can better answer questions that automated may miss out on or fill out incorrectly.

that is actually true you don't know if the article you submit using software for automatic submissions will actually publish. for me do it manually will see the results well.

Auto submission will not work that is for sure.

My only fear with auto submit is that google will ban you. I try to stay away from programs like SEONuke for only that reason.

The answer is that manual submissions and automated submissions are BOTH good...the key is knowing where to use each..in most cases manual submission will always be better to put a personal touch and make sure it gets submitted and indexed correctly but who has the time to do that constantly...

Find out where you can submit automatically and use a program for those specific submissions sites and then on the others use manual submission...

Inherently the sites where automatic submission was possible I would assume that the quality of the links from the site will be lower because they are diluted by other people doing automatic submission...with manual submission there will still be dilution but I believe the quality of your submission content will be much better.

Yes, I agree that manual submissions are more effective and accurate than automated. In automated submission you are not sure if your website is really submitted in the directory.

Yes it can be a little time consuming and requires a little hard work but the results are effectiev and trustworthy.

Some people want to auto directory submission but its not good when you do manually submission you get it conformation mail and when your submission approved then you can check it.

Auto submission is just good for some people who do submission service as it is fast. It will get errors sometimes!
Manual submission is good for people who want to concentrate on their own sites. It is good but slow!

I think manual submitting is always better than automation jobs, especially right for article submission.

manual submission indeed better then auto,because it give google time to indexing it and it look not so spammy.however link building directory now. no longer consider as effective as old time.

Yes i agree with this. Manual directory submission is always better automated submission. In terms of automated submissions there may chances for spamming.
