when designing logos it should be understood that ideas that are conceived should be given a sketch form one need not try for perfection just present the ideas on paper as it, perfection is nice but it could block the ideas.
Logos can make or break your website or business imo, if your logo looks professional but catchy it gives the visitor peace of mind that they are looking at a professional site.
I have just setup a site using a script that i have just purchased and i have to change the header for a new one so do i keep it simple but straight to the point it will have the the text in the header mentioning what the brief description of the site is,so is this the right way to go about it.This is the site Rapidshare it is a link generating site so i am getting the text 'Unlimited Direct Link Generator' included in the header so it will have the url and the text as my way of thinking is visitors to the site usually make there mind up in the 1st 20-30 seconds if they want to stay on the site. So am i on the right track with this one and i hope to be using the very subtle combination of mainly black and a hint of red,just one other thing is could i al;so ask someone if they could try out the Rapidshare download facilty to see if it all works correctly and please note only the RS has an account installed. Thanks and looking forward to some feedback.
