Link with no Anchor text

    I wonder if a link with no particular anchor text could generate some link juice from a search engine perhaps it would count as hidden text.

    I would imagine it would count as a hidden link , the only thing that would benefit from such a thing would be PR , but how cares about PR ?

    Do you mean like just a regular non-anchored link as in someones signature? It would get link juice and SE traffic, but you wouldn't get any anchor benefits.

    No its not like that, all i wanna say is that when people use strong, bold, etc. for their keyword. In a way it can be considered as link (connection with your content) because when you specify a particular keyword in your site or post you're giving signal to the search engine to go to your site content or post.
