    Hey,

    I was wondering - what Joomla plugins should I use? I have my site setup now

    (I know the layout isn't properly working).

    So you are new in joomla?

    I suggest you to make some sections and categories, and post some articles or tutorials. That is the point, right?

    What you really want to do with the site? If you are posting only tutorials and web design tips, you don't need any plugin, just to make your urls SEF.

    Best thing to do is get your self a host and try it , Joomla can be a little complicated at first but if you are not used to any other system then Joomla is a great place to start . IMO its the best CMS in the world and to make it even better..........its free
