    web hosting is the way by which one can promote their business online and can earn profit out of it.can any one suggest any another way to promote business online?

    Web hosting is merely a base of which your website sits. It has nothing to do with Promotion what so ever ? Other method of Promoting your website include PPC, SEO , Social Marketing ( including bookmarking and Networking )

    Web Hosting service with Guaranteed uptime is very important for any online business to succeed. There are many ways to promote online business. You can start with Directory, Article and Press Release submissions, forum and blog comments, optimizing the website etc.

    I think vijendrasn is asking if there is any other way to promote one's business without a website, not what web hosting is.

    No you don't have to have a website, for example you can do video marketing,

    If you don't like to make your identity online and want to sale your services or products than you may use other websites, (like freelancer's websites for services and ebay for your products etc).

    It is not the only single way, but is the best. If you want to sell something, you can advertise on forums or websites related with your product, but if you want to make a real profit selling your products or service on the internet, the main factor is to have a website.

    You are right. I think that the website does matter. I am working on a website currently for US Tech Host, and all the time I am being asked, "Wheres your site" and I have to say "it's under construction", it loses you customers as while. The forum posting and promotion is always great. But you need the website to back it up. Hopefully the designer will finish the site by next month for me :)

    you have caught the idea of vijen there are many online marketing tools to promote your business on web. i have read many articles on it. you can do banner advertisement and as proposed by seofu same as video news letters promos. etc

    You're right, he is asking if there is another to promote his business without having a website. A website is your 24 hours sales person. It is also used to validate your business. Before the internet became what it is now, a business card was a way to validate that you are a legitimate business.

    You can also promote your business via internet marketing by using social sites such as facebook and myspace. There are many social sites out there but these are by far the ones that you hear most often. Even for those that don't use facebook or myspace, they have heard of it. Good luck in your promotions.

    For a web site to be made available on the Internet, it has to be hosted on a server by a hosting company. A web hosting company is a company that provides services which places your web site on a server which is connected to the Internet. A web hosting company has nothing to do with promoting a site, [FONT=arial, helvetica]your content is your best advertisement!     Right, with a nice web hosting service, you would get more reliable resources for promoting online. Another channels would be niche relative forum and blog posting, free ads, free press releasing, article submission, social networking, social bookmarking and PPC. :)
