When you make a new style, do you just edit the style sheet, or go a little advanced and use HTML?

I love adding HTML to the forum because it makes things nicer if you use it right. Like for the AU banner, it uses a simple div.

I dont know HTML or CSS very well, but if I was a beginner CSSer I would only edit the style sheets.

I'm not big into styles, but when I make them I usually don't add HTML to it, too hard, and most forums don't look good when you do that.

Yes, too much HTML adds loading time to the page I believe?

Too much isn't very good in my opinion unless you have a very fast server.

I like to edit the HTML. Maybe add a little side navigation or something of that sort.

Do you mean a 728 by 90 skyscraper section on the side of the forum?

I don't really do any of these because I don't know much of anything. I just get my bro to do it but I don't know what he does.

Maybe. I'm prefer with html than php. Its good and i always put html code in my site or forum. Its more easier and i'm fine with that. But of course i need to learn about php code too. Its necessary right?

I'd say using a little HTML is fine. I can only use a little ever, because I only know a very little...lol. But overall, if you can do it, then use your skills. For me though, I usually just edit the stylesheets because it is easier for someone at my skill level.
