How to operate my own computer from other computer?

    I want to operate my computer from my friend's computer. Is there any software or anything for such cases???

    Google " VNC " there are plenty of remote access programs which you can use for free.

    try using teamViewer, Access any remote computer via Internet just like sitting in front of it - even through firewalls

    teamviewer is the best software. you just need to remember the id and password of your computer. filetransfer, remote support everything is possible. filetransfers are really very fast if both computer using same isp . i hope its help

    You can also access the another system from your system's "Remote Connection" option.

    In my opinion team viewer is the best on the internet and most of all it's allow free use of the software.

    BY connecting systems through via internet ...and use remote desktop access to share data, soft-wares,files etc....

    You can try ShowMyPC, its online base so you don't need to install anything.

    How about for your PDA I have used RDM plus but its a pain to change phones of which I do frequently. Adobe has a Free application for presentations and sharing as well and it pretty robust!

    unless you have it lan connection you cant access other computer or try to set the connections in a network to access. there are softwares but it can be used only for laptops

    Laptop is very convenient, Desktop is more powerful because of its high memory, video card and storage device and you can upgrade to it while Mac characteristic is stable but expensive. IMO, choosing on three will depends on what is your life style though personally i want desktop

    teamviewer is the best for this purpose ,it is free , easy to use , you can chat, & transfer files also but you need to connect to internet .

    You can use LogMeIn, teamviewer, VNC and offcource "remote desktop connection" which is by default comes with Microsoft Package.
