1. I've started a massive SPAM purge, any accounts that have spammed are being removed, also for a short period new user signups are disallowed until the SPAM cleaning is finished.

    Where can I find that 'Properties and Compatibility' stuff.

    Right. Some plugins really slow down Firefox and I believe most SEO plugins are guilty of it. Sometimes I use Google Chrome if I want a fast browser. =)

    i will try that one too. firefox has been my problem since then. it is very slow.

    Add some Firefox plugin to make it fast . or its better that you can use Google Chrome

    and don't think any of them work.

    Informative thread you have added here, these are really helpful for increasing the speed of Firefox browser, i have a problem with this browser please suggest if you know about it, when i open new tab i get babylon search page, i want a blank page in new tab, can you suggest how to do that.

    Ya here are some more tips to increase your internet speed

    * Check the Start up programs and remove the unwanted
    * Maintain a Decent Space limit at Hard drive
    * Check for Malware, Spyware and bots
    * Clear cookies and temporary history files
    * Close unwanted background tasks if any
    * Reset the modem
    * Browse with latest and updated browser
    * Download using torrents
    * Upgrade your hardware
    * Adjust the Wifi antenna if it has one.
    Following these steps may fetch you a better result. You can see the difference in your connection speed by having a speed test before and after performing these steps. You can have speed test for free from Scanmyspeed.com . You will definitely see the difference.

    Great information you have shared in this thread, i am also facing the problem with Firefox it's providing slow speed but when i uninstall the add-ons i get some speed up :)
