    I think it does automatically install plug in as your choice. You just have to permit or allow the updates.

    To install a plugin you just have to put the plugin file into your 'wp-content/plugins' directory. Once it is installed, one can activate or deactivate it as per its use. This is done from the Plugins menu in the WordPress administration. For WordPress 2.7 and above plugins can be directly installed from the admin area. Download the plugin, login to WordPress administration, select Plugins - Add new. Go to the plugin archive and select the plugin. Select Install now and the plugin will be installed.
