I know that more backlinks a site have then a better rank (Google PR i mean) the site could reach, one way links are better than reciprocal, related sites linking to you is better than a wide unrelated clould of links, and so on...

I also know that is possible to "buy" or rent backlinks from well stablished sites but the point is: how many backlinks i must to buy in order to gain same rank as this site?. An example: if my site is page rank 3 and i rent a backlink from another site with page rank 5 then my site jumps to pr 5?, or i need to rent 2,3.4.5.... backlinks from other pr 5 sites too in order to get my site with same pr?...

In my opinion PR is very misunderstood in terms of what benefits it can offer. Higher PR site generally seem to rank better in serps for their long tail URL's and of course you also have the option of offering text links at higher prices ( which can be risky )

To answer your question though its more about qaulity than the actual PR its self , for example if you get a PR7 backlink that has 50 external links then the "PR Juice" that you get will be very small, but if you get a PR7 that has some authority and good backlinks that has less than 5 backlinks then its likely you will get at least a PR5 and possibly a PR6 in return.

There is a small graph that estimates the amount of back links for a certain PR below but as i said its all about the quality of the PR and the amount of external links etc.

Really thanks for your deep reply river, so if i understood well i should rent a pr5 or higher from a site with no more than 5 outgoing links in order to jump to a pr 5 myself?.

I would say unless you got a really good qaulity and related link you are most likely going to need 4 or 5 PR5's before your site becomes a PR5.

Google is a funny and fickle machine and is very unpredictable , remember if you are buying/renting links you have to be very careful who you are buying from , if google realises that the site you brought the link from is selling they could penalise your site for buying links, its classes as SERP's Manipulation in googles eyes

Hmm its a hard question to answer because people have different budgets and different expectations.

personally when i sold a PR5 before i charge around $120 for a 6 month period, Which works out around $20 a month and ive also sold some at $220 per 6 months. But thats because i dont want low qaulity sites being listed on mine.

You can pick up PR5 links for as little as $5 - $10 a month but i personally would never buy a cheap link, as i said above you have to be careful who you buy links from.

I also believe there are people on DP that are out to catch link sellers and buyers and report them to Google.

Ive had one experience where one of my sites when from being on the first page of google for loads of good keywords and then after i brought some links from an untrusted source my site went to page 12 for everything, in the end i had to sell use another domain for that site because it never came back to the first page. Could have been a coincidence but i beg to differ.

My site has been indexed in Yahoo, alltheweb, as well as webcrawler. But still my site has not been indexed by Google Spiders. I wonder, what on this Earth I can do to make a presence in Google !

It's a new site. And it is a wordpress blog hosted in a free host server and also has a free .co.cc domain name. I have managed the DNS service for this domain name. It is almost 1 month old site.

A month old site should be indexed to be honest, although you are not in the sandbox, if you havent done anything with the domain at all then you have just been unlucky , build some backlinks ( not too many otherwise you will stand a chance of seeing the sandbox ) submit the site to some social bookmarking sites like Digg ,redit and propeller. After you have done that then your site should be indexed with in 48 hours or less.

Being indexed doesnt mean that you will actually rank for anything, it just means that the site is in google somewhere, you can check if your site is indexed by going to google and typing :

    site:youdomain.com

If it returns any results it means them pages are indexed.

Have you tried the Google maps? if not you should, so that your site will be included in Google listings. Also, you might want to be sure that your url will be added to their business profile. So fill out a business profile in superpages.com because only google spiders who can crawl this site and its for free. Actually the links they provide has no value in ranking for your site when it comes to search results but they will help your site to get indexed quicker by google that can give you a traffic.

@ RIverWire, I have heard of these Social Bookmarking sites befre they are reputed ones. But can you give me names of some other top bookmarking sites as well. How many social bookmarking sites I should join to get a desired PR?

@Luckyheart, are you talking about the Google Map that is used to locate a Geographic Location? I mean how to add our website to a google map? Can you explain in brief?

Exactly! with google maps users can find business location and information all in one in a location using Local Business Center. If you register to this possible clients/customers will find you much easier and it was convenient for them because they got all information they needed from you (business add, telephone no., etc) To add your business information to the Local Business Center:
    1. Go to your Local Business Center in google.
    2. If you have an existing Google account sign in there otherwise sign up for a new one.
    3. Follow the instruction to create a listing.
Then, they will call you to verify your account and they will give you an instruction what to do next. If you want to add more than 10 business location, you can do so by submitting it in bulk upload.

It's probably unnatural if you get more links per day than you get visitors :O

    How many backlinks need?
Simple answer . . .one more than you competition. Ok, that is over simplifying it a bit.
But just keep building them. Results will follow eventually and you will be a happy webmaster.
