Suppose, there are 5 forums namely A Forums, B Forums, C Forums, D Forums, E Forums and all the forums are having PR 6. Now, I will place my new site's link in the signature and do 100 posts per forum. So, I will get 500 PR6 Back links. So, will I get PR 1 for my site. If no, How many posts shall I do?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hi

Yes, you should get a PR1 or higher but it depends on how Google work. They are always changing their algo.

Also, even though the forums are PR6, the threads you post on may all be PR0.

I think it would also be a good idea to link exchange with other sites quality sites.

Right, but you have to search for those reputable sites only to be not involved in a bad neighborhood sites.

yeah, that's right. If the thread you posted may all be PR0, then there's only small amount of PR juice will be passed on your site.

In addition, let's say the thread you posted have PR1, this doesn't necessarily mean that you would get the whole PR1 juice because this juice will be divided among other members (have also links on their signature).

Though you contribute a hundred post counts if it doesn't make sense to others its useless. Many think that gaining a lot of post means a sign of a good promotion but it merely depends on the level of your participation. You should be a great contributor that share good and helpful thoughts to others so that you can be noted and well known and at the end they give a credit on you by viewing your profile and click your signature.

And I think you should make sure that all your backlinks are dofollowed.

IMO, you should maintain the quality of your link and the keywords are not hidden or stuff. Create a one way link to get a quality backlinks and updating your site as often as you can and tru your hard work with clean optimizing will help you to get the PR 6 that you've wanted. Don't rush for it was not easy to achieve.

The more backlinks you have the more chance of getting a high PR for your site but... do not over do it for it can be a way to get ban.

I think, that instead of posting on 5 other forums, choose a forum that you know you'll have a fun time in. Post on that forum, and become part of the community. Once you've settled in, and established some "reputation" with other members, you'll have a lot of backlinks, and the trust of the community. From there, you easily refer your site to the community. That way, you'll get backlinks, and traffic. If you could do that for all 5 forums, that'd be ideal.
