I have always wondered how does google earn money through adsense ? It always pays its users and never ask registration or any other type of fee..
They take a cut percentage of the money that the advertisers pay them in adwords, what percentage im not sure.
In google adsense program, the adsense publisher and google both earns money. In adsense, google provides ads code to the publishers and google share revenues with the publisher. No idea about the percentage of share.
Here's how it works, you put up a website, you put adsense on it. Google will publish some ads to it. Someone will click it. Advertisers will pay for the clicks. Google will cut some from the payment then to you.
I last read from some source, it took like 70% cut from the Adwords PPC. Publisher only earn like 30% of what advertiser pays.
Google is the middle agent between advertisers and promoters like us. It takes $1 from advertiser and gives $.5 to us and keeps remaining. Its an example.
